Overview The Assistant Manager supports the Store Manager in driving store performance, team development, and operational excellence. This role oversees daily operations, motivates staff, and ensures a high level of customer service to achieve company goals in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities <ul> <li>Support Store Manager in achieving sales goals and business objectives</li> <li>Uphold visual merchandising standards and support promotional initiatives</li> <li>Train and coach staff on sales techniques, product knowledge, and service standards</li> <li>Manage inventory, including counts and control procedures</li> <li>Enforce safety, security, and company policies</li> <li>Supervise team performance, provide feedback, and maintain operational consistency</li> <li>Support omni-channel sales and fulfillment</li> <li>Assist with store events, sales, and daily operations</li> <li>Serve as backup to Store Manager and handle administrative tasks as needed</li> </ul> Skills & Requirements <ul> <li>Minimum 1-2 years experience managing in a similar role</li> <li>Positive, outgoing, and encouraging attitude!</li> <li>Professional appearance, must follow AVN presentation standards</li> <li>Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills</li> <li>Attention to detail and organizational ability</li> <li>Analytical and computer skills</li> <li>Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays</li> </ul> Physical Requirements & Working Conditions The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. <ul> <li>Ability to kneel, bend, stoop, crouch, reach, climb, walk, and stand for long durations of time</li> <li>Ability to move and lift equipment and supplies of up to 30 pounds</li> <li>Vision abilities include close, distance, color peripheral, and depth perception</li> <li>Noise level in the work environment is moderate</li> </ul> This job description is not exhaustive, and you may be required to carry out other duties as requested. Salary Range – California For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in California, Aviator Nation includes a reasonable estimate of the salary or hourly rate range for this role. This considers the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions; including but not limited to business or organizational needs, skill sets, experience and training, licensure, and certifications. In addition, where a candidate falls within the disclosed range estimate may be dependent on the applicable geographic differential associated with the location in which the position may be filled. A reasonable estimate of pay range is $19-$25/hr.
