Responsibilities include welcoming and assisting customers, offering tailored product solutions, and handling customer concerns with empathy and professionalism. They stay up-to-date on products, services, and policies while maintaining a well-presented sales floor, displays, and signage.</p> <h3><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Greet and assist customers, providing exceptional service and product knowledge.</li> <li>Maintain strong knowledge of products (e.g., SKUs, fit, features).</li> <li>Operate the POS system to manage sales, returns, exchanges, and balance cash drawers.</li> <li>Support and achieve sales goals through upselling, cross-selling, and promoting in-store offers.</li> <li>Guide customers to merchandise and help increase in-store sales.</li> <li>Keep the sales floor organized, clean, and well-stocked.</li> <li>Handle inventory tasks, including restocking, shipments, and inventory counts.</li> <li>Contribute to omni-channel sales and fulfillment processes.</li> <li>Assist with store social media efforts, including taking photos.<br><br></li> </ul> <h3><strong>Skills & Requirements</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Availability to work a flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays.</li> <li>Must have a positive attitude, high energy, and a customer-focused mindset.</li> <li>Strong communication, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.</li> <li>Ability to maintain a professional appearance and adhere to the dress code.</li> <li>Basic reading, writing, math, and computer skills.</li> <li>Confidence in using office and retail equipment (computers, phones, printers, etc.).<br><br></li> </ul> <p><strong>Physical Requirements & Working Conditions </strong></p> <p>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. </p> <ul> <li>Ability to kneel, bend, stoop, crouch, reach, climb, walk, and stand for long durations of time</li> <li>Ability to move and lift equipment and supplies of up to 30 pounds</li> <li>Vision abilities include close, distance, color peripheral, and depth perception</li> <li>Noise level in the work environment is moderate </li> </ul> <p>This job description is not exhaustive, and you may be required to carry out other duties as requested. </p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Salary Range – California</strong></p> <p>For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in California, Aviator Nation includes a reasonable estimate of the salary or hourly rate range for this role. This considers the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions; including but not limited to business or organizational needs, skill sets, experience and training, licensure, and certifications.
