Senior Producer

<p><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><strong>1 big thing: </strong>Axios is a media company dedicated to providing trustworthy, award-winning news and information in an audience-first format. We are seeking a creative, highly organized Producer/Senior Producer to help grow Axios’ original video portfolio. This hands-on, end-to-end producer will take ideas from concept through production, post-production, publishing, and audience growth.</span></p> <p><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">The role will support original Axios video programming, including The Axios Show, and other editorial video formats across YouTube, social, and digital platforms.</span></p> <p><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Why it matters: </strong>Axios is investing in high-quality, audience-focused video storytelling. The Producer/Senior Producer will partner with editorial, video, social, audience, revenue, and external production partners to turn strong ideas into compelling, visually engaging video. This person will be equally comfortable developing a treatment, directing a shoot, editing a finished piece, managing production timelines, and working with on-camera talent.</span></p> <p><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Go deeper: </strong>In this role, you’ll:</span></p> <ul> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Produce video from ideation through scripting, shooting, post-production, publishing, and promotion.</span></li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Shape ideas into pitches, treatments, scripts, shot lists, run-of-show documents, and other production materials.</span></li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Partner with editorial and video leaders to develop creative concepts and deliver engaging, accurate video aligned with Axios’ voice and standards.</span></li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Lead or support field, studio, and remote-based productions.</span></li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Work effectively with journalists, executives, guests, and other on-camera talent.</span></li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Coordinate work across internal teams, freelancers, contractors, vendors, and production partners.</span></li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Create video optimized for YouTube and other digital platforms, including packaging, audience retention, and distribution.</span></li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Use platform trends and performance insights to inform creative decisions and help grow Axios’ video audience.</span></li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial
