Axios is hiring an SVP, Product to lead how Axios builds products across the company, strengthening Product and Design while turning promising AI-enabled ideas into durable, supported products. Why it matters: Axios builds and ships at multiple levels. Product and Design lead the development of durable, company-wide products and shared platforms. AI Enablement partners with departments to identify opportunities, prototype AI-enabled tools and workflows, and help teams put useful solutions into practice. The SVP, Product will connect these levels by making decision rights, prioritization, and handoffs clear: what should remain a local workflow, what AI Enablement should support, and what Product and Design should develop into a durable, supported product or shared capability. The role spans the products, platforms, and workflows that power Axios, from the CMS, axios.com, newsletters, and Local products to internal tools and shared platforms supporting editorial, revenue, and company operations, as well as the growing set of AI-enabled solutions being developed closer to the work. As Axios becomes more capable of building with AI, more teams will identify and prototype solutions for their own needs.
