Legal & Compliance Officer / Assistant Officer - Wealth & Custody

<p>Currently, we’re hiring an early‑career / junior professional to join our Fortune 500 financial services client on a temp‑to‑perm basis, providing legal, compliance and related support across their wealth and custody products.</p> <p>This is a strong entry point for junior talent to break into HNW wealth, insurance and asset‑management work, with a clear path to permanent hire and high exposure to custody, product and regulatory matters.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Support legal, compliance and related work across custodian arrangements and asset‑management structures for HNW client assets.</li> <li>Assist with commercial and product documentation for life insurance, investment and wealth products (including HNW insurance / VUL where applicable).</li> <li>Help coordinate new product launches, tracking approvals, conditions and documentation with internal stakeholders and external partners.</li> <li>Conduct targeted regulatory and market research, turning findings into clear, practical summaries for the business.</li> <li>Liaise with operations, front office and external service providers to resolve day‑to‑day custody and documentation issues.</li> <li>Contribute to process improvements around documentation, checks and record‑keeping to enhance control and efficiency.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Ideal Candidate Profile</strong></p> <ul> <li>Junior or early‑career professional with internship or work experience (legal/compliance or operational) in a trustee company, securities firm, custodian bank or corporate‑service provider dealing with client assets or investment products.</li> <li>Exposure to custody, asset‑management, or wealth/insurance products (HNW insurance / VUL experience is a plus but not mandatory).</li> <li>Strong critical thinking, attention to detail and documentation skills; comfortable reading and working with commercial and product agreements.</li> <li>High‑attitude hire: meticulous, resourceful, culturally aware and keen to learn, with a proactive, “no‑task‑too‑small” mindset and interest in building a career in wealth / legal / compliance.</li> </ul> <div class="st-emotion-cache-qcqlej ea3mdgi1"> <p><strong>Why Join Axiom</strong></p> <p><strong>Compensation, Benefits & Working Location: </strong> </p> <p>This role offers a highly competitive compensation and benefits package in the alternative legal services marketplace, that includes health benefits, CPF/MPF contributions and more.
