Legal Consultant - Commercial Contracts

<p></p> <h2>About the Role</h2> <p class="isSelectedEnd">Axiom, a global leader in on-demand legal talent, is looking for experienced <strong>Commercial Legal Consultants</strong> to join our high-caliber legal talent network and work with leading multinational and global organizations.</p> <p class="isSelectedEnd">As a Commercial Legal Consultant, you will provide high-quality, practical legal support on a broad range of commercial matters, partnering closely with business and legal teams to navigate complex transactions, manage risk, and support strategic business objectives.</p> <p class="isSelectedEnd"> </p> <h2>Key Responsibilities</h2> <ul data-spread="false"> <li>Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of complex commercial agreements, ensuring alignment with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.</li> <li>Provide practical, commercially focused legal advice and strategic guidance on a variety of transactions and business initiatives.</li> <li>Partner with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams to develop and implement legal strategies that support business priorities.</li> <li>Identify and assess legal and commercial risks, and provide pragmatic solutions to effectively manage and mitigate those risks.</li> <li>Work closely with business and legal teams to facilitate efficient execution of commercial transactions and support broader organizational objectives.</li> </ul> <h2> </h2> <h2>Qualifications & Experience</h2> <ul data-spread="false"> <li>Demonstrated experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex commercial agreements, ideally within a sophisticated in-house or private practice environment.</li> <li>Strong familiarity with a broad range of commercial contracts, including service agreements, intellectual property licensing agreements, software and technology agreements, supply and procurement agreements, and non-disclosure agreements (NDAs).</li> <li>Strong commercial judgment and the ability to translate legal considerations into practical, business-oriented advice.</li> <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.</li> <li>Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and operate effectively in fast-paced, complex business environments.</li> </ul> <p></p> <div><strong data-olk-copy-source="MessageBody">Compensation, Benefits & Location:</strong></div> <div> </div> <div>This role offers a range of competitive compensation and a highly competitive benefits package in the alternative legal services marketplace that includes health benefits and paid time off.
