Legal Consultant - Financial Services

This will give you a great opportunity to expand your skill set and gain more exposure by working with our Fortune 500 clients in Singapore!</p> <p><strong>Minimum Qualifications: </strong></p> <ul type="disc"> <li class="x_x_MsoListParagraph"><span data-olk-copy-source="MessageBody">3–10 years experience</span></li> <li class="x_x_MsoListParagraph">Significant experience in financial services</li> <li class="x_x_MsoListParagraph">Strong transactional background (macro or credit) with the ability to manage end to end matters independently</li> <li class="x_x_MsoListParagraph">Private practice and In house experience within financial institutions is highly preferred</li> <li class="x_x_MsoListParagraph">Ability to provide clear, commercially focused legal advice under tight timelines</li> <li class="x_x_MsoListParagraph">Strong communication and stakeholder management skills</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Responsibilities: </strong></p> <ul type="disc"> <li class="x_x_MsoListParagraph"><span data-olk-copy-source="MessageBody">Provide legal advice on various transactions within banking and finance, including structuring, documentation, and regulatory considerations</span></li> <li class="x_x_MsoListParagraph">Provide advisory input on transactional matters rather than serving as a pure negotiator</li> <li class="x_x_MsoListParagraph">Advise front office teams on macro and credit products, and support BAU transactional workflows, including reviewing, drafting, and advising on a range of market related agreements</li> <li class="x_x_MsoListParagraph">Work closely with internal stakeholders across Singapore and regional markets</li> <li class="x_x_MsoListParagraph">Ensure legal risks are identified, assessed, and managed in line with internal policies and regulatory expectations</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>C</strong><strong>ompensation, Benefits & Location: </strong></p> <p>This role offers a range of competitive compensation and a highly competitive benefits package in the alternative legal services marketplace that includes health benefits and paid time off.
