<h3><strong>Join Our Team as a Lawyer at Axiom!</strong></h3> <p><strong>Technology Lawyer</strong></p> <p>We are currently seeking <strong>Technology Lawyers</strong> to work with our clients at some of the world’s largest technology, financial services, consumer goods, retail, and professional services companies.<br><br>The ideal candidate will have experience advising businesses on technology-related legal matters, with a background in <strong>one or more of the following areas: artificial intelligence (AI); cloud, SaaS and software licensing/technology transactions; product counsel; or advertising technology (AdTech)</strong>. Candidates do not need experience across all areas.</p> <h3><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Provide legal counsel on a range of technology, digital product, AI, and commercial matters, partnering with legal, product, engineering, sales, marketing, and other business teams.</li> <li>Draft, review, and negotiate technology transactions, including SaaS, cloud, software licensing, technology services, data, platform, and other technology-related agreements.</li> <li>Advise on AI development, deployment, and use, including AI contracting, governance, product considerations, and evolving legal and regulatory requirements.</li> <li>Provide product counsel throughout the product lifecycle, advising on legal and regulatory considerations related to the development, launch, and operation of technology and digital products.</li> <li>Advise on advertising technology and digital advertising matters, including AdTech platforms, data use, digital marketing technologies, and related commercial and regulatory considerations.</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Qualifications:</strong></h3> <ul> <li>3+ years of legal experience in one or more of the following areas: AI; cloud, SaaS and software licensing/technology transactions; product counsel; or advertising technology, preferably with in-house experience.</li> <li>Experience advising technology or business teams and/or drafting and negotiating technology-related commercial agreements.</li> <li>Strong understanding of legal and regulatory considerations affecting technology, digital products, data, and emerging technologies.</li> <li>Licensed and in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario.</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Compensation:</strong></h3> <p>The estimated total compensation for full-time Axiom attorney roles is $114,000-250,000 per year<strong> </strong>and for non-attorney roles is $64,000-201,000 per year. Compensation decisions are based on various factors, including, but not limited to, experience, skills, certifications, location, and business needs.
