Ready to build what's next? <strong>#JoinTheBand</strong></div> <p> </p> </div> <p><strong>What We Are Looking For:</strong></p> <p>We’re looking for a <strong>Software Engineer (Messaging Provisioning)</strong> who will work on designing and developing solutions for reputation management and number provisioning.</p> <p>You are the right candidate if...</p> <ul> <li>You are able to work independently to solve and debug tough issues and have a proven track record of being able to successfully unblock yourself when solving complex technical problems.</li> <li>You are a clear communicator and are able to clearly describe the work you are doing and any issues you are facing.</li> </ul> <p><strong>What You'll Do:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Create and maintain REST APIs (Java/Spring) for distributed, multi-service systems</li> <li>Design, document, and review new product features and APIs in collaboration with other team members</li> <li>Write and maintain unit, functional, and end to end tests for the code that you write</li> <li>Build and deploy applications for AWS, including creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines</li> <li>Participate in productive code reviews and adhere to team-defined coding standards as you create products (we value collaboration within and across teams to build better products!)</li> <li>Support the products you work on in our on-call rotation</li> </ul> <p><strong>What You Need:</strong></p> <p>If you’re our person, you probably look like this:</p> <ul> <li>You have 2+ years of experience building web services in Java and Spring</li> <li>An understanding of network protocols, HTTP, and REST</li> <li>Experience designing and working with distributed systems, specifically the ability to debug issues across correlated microservices</li> <li>Experience with AWS development</li> <li>Experience with SQL and relational database systems</li> <li>Experience with unit and functional testing</li> <li>A 3-year technical degree or equivalent experience</li> </ul> <h2><strong style="font-size: 13px;">The Whole Person Promise:</strong><span style="font-size: 13px;"> </span></h2> <div> <p>At Bandwidth, we’re pretty proud of our corporate culture, which is rooted in our “Whole Person Promise.” We promise all employees that they can have meaningful work AND a full life, and we provide a work environment geared toward enriching your body, mind, and spirit.
