Ready to build what's next? <strong>#JoinTheBand</strong></p> </div> <p><strong>What We Are Looking For:</strong></p> <p><strong>As a Senior Engineer on our Account Provisioning Development team, </strong>you’ll get to build and expand on our company’s account provisioning system. The team enables Bandwidth to provision our customers for all of the global communication services we offer at a large and growing scale. We’re looking for people who get excited about building highly performant and maintainable services and infrastructure.</p> <p><strong>What You'll Do:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Design, implement, and operate flexible and accurate account provisioning systems that support our global communication services.</li> <li>Work closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to define and deliver solutions that meet customer needs.</li> <li>Identify and resolve bottlenecks and inefficiencies in provisioning processes, ensuring high availability and scalability.</li> <li>Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and architecture decisions to uphold high-quality software development practices.</li> <li>Provide guidance and support to less experienced team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.</li> </ul> <p><strong>What You Need:</strong></p> <ul> <li>5+ years of engineering experience building and maintaining large-scale distributed systems.</li> <li>Experience with Java, Python and Go; familiarity with AWS or other cloud providers.</li> <li>Ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions.</li> <li>Maintain high standards of code quality, testing, and documentation.</li> <li>Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.</li> <li>Strong communication skills to express your ideas and technical solutions, be able to articulate pros and cons of the proposed approach.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Bonus Points:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Startup experience, or generally work in an environment with independent work and less defined requirements.</li> <li>Experience with tools for monitoring and observability (such as Datadog).</li> <li>Practical knowledge of infrastructure as code (specifically Terraform) will be beneficial.</li> <li>A strong understanding of modern CI/CD (ideally GitHub Actions) best practices and implementing strategies to enhance it.</li> <li>Experience with development in AI technologies and/or AI-assisted development.</li> <li>Experience in front-end development with React and TypeScript.</li> </ul> <p><strong>The Whole Person Promise:</strong></p> <p>At Bandwidth, we’re pretty proud of our corporate culture, which is rooted i
