<h2>What we're looking for</h2> <p>BCB Payments (Europe) is looking for someone who is naturally curious, who wants to understand how things work rather than simply follow a process. You’ll ideally:</p> <ul> <li>Be curious and inquisitive, asking questions and digging into the "why" behind an issue, not just the immediate fix</li> <li>Have sharp attention to detail, taking ownership of accuracy, organisation and getting things right</li> <li>Have a growth mindset, seeing gaps in knowledge as opportunities to learn and develop</li> <li>Be a natural problem solver, taking ownership and following issues through to resolution</li> <li>Be collaborative and supportive, contributing positively to the team and being willing to help others</li> <li>Build strong relationships, with clear communication and good interpersonal skills across internal and external stakeholders</li> <li>Be proactive and outcome-focused, taking initiative and focusing on getting the job done rather than being clock driven</li> <li>Stays calm and effective while juggling multiple work streams under pressure</li> <li>Be flexible, including with working hours where required</li> <li>Be Paris-based or within commutable distance, to support our 1-2 days/week in-office policy </li> </ul> <h2>Key responsibilities</h2> <ul> <li>Match FX and crypto trade details between counterparties and internal systems, investigating and resolving discrepancies.</li> <li>Execute settlement procedures for FX and crypto trades in accordance with industry standards and regulation</li> <li>Monitor settlement queues and liaise with banking partners to chase up outstanding items</li> <li>Maintain accurate records of trade and settlement activity, ensuring compliance with regulatory documentation requirements</li> <li>Communicate settlement statuses and respond to queries across internal teams, clients, and external service providers</li> <li>Identify and escalate potential risks related to trade settlements</li> <li>Assist clients and client facing teams with trading and settlement queries in a timely manner</li> </ul> <h3>Experience-wise, we'd love to see:</h3> <ul> <li>Some demonstrable experience in a similar settlements or trade support role</li> <li>An understanding and experience with payments rails such as FPS, CHAPS, FEDWIRE, SEPA & SWIFT is an advantage</li> <li>Experience within FinTech, Payments or Banking preferred, given the nature of the role</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Pay range and compensation package</strong></h3> <p>Salary Range: €30,000 - €45,000 </p> <ul> <li>25 days holiday plus 10 days RTT</li> <li>Hybrid Working (1-2 days in our Paris office) </li> <li>Private Healthcare through Entoria </li> <li>Company Pension </li> <li>Enhanced parental leave</li> <li>50% travel card reimbursement</li> <li>Teleworking allowance</li> </ul> <p> </p>
