Then this is the position for you!</p> <p><strong>Laupahoehoe, Honoka'a, </strong><strong>Waimea, </strong><strong>Kohala, </strong><strong>Waikoloa, </strong><strong>Kailua- Kona a</strong><strong>nd the surrounding areas</strong></p> <p><strong>Compensation: Competitive hourly rate of $30 -$35 / hour based on experience</strong></p> <p>Flexible Scheduling: </p> <ul> <li>Part time positions available</li> <li>Shifts available Monday through Friday </li> <li>Most shifts are between 7:30am and 2:30pm </li> <li>Work in your neighborhood or commute for more hours </li> </ul> <p><br>BAYADA Offers Registered Behavior Technicians<strong> </strong> (RBTs):</p> <ul> <li>Health Insurance </li> <li>Paid Time Off </li> <li>Scholarships </li> <li>Employee Appreciation Events </li> <li>Weekly Pay </li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Qualifications for a School-Based Behavior Technician:</strong> </p> <ul> <li> <p>Registered Behavior Technician (RBT ) Certified or the desire to pursue certification (Training provided by BAYADA)</p> </li> <li> <p>Be at least 18 years of age </p> </li> <li> <p>Experience working with children with <span class="WOR0">developmental/intellectual</span> disabilities is a plus, but not required</p> </li> <li> <p>An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree <strong>OR </strong>48 college credits including Math 100 and English 100 <strong>OR p</strong>assage of the ParaPro Praxis Assessment (BAYADA assistance available) </p> </li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>How You’ll Make an Impact: </strong> </p> <ul> <li> <p>Work directly with students in the classroom, following the established service plan </p> </li> <li> <p>Establish and maintain relationships with clients and school teams. Respect the values, thoughts, beliefs, and attitudes of clients and families </p> </li> <li> <p>Implement behavior therapy techniques and collaborate with teachers to support the student in the classroom environment </p> </li> <li> <p>Document interventions and progress towards goals </p> </li> <li> <p>Collect behavior data as specified in client behavior plan </p> </li> <li> <p>Provide training, instruction, and assistance to help the student acquire and maintain skills and meet identified goals </p> </li> <li> <p>Provide support to the client in interpersonal skills, development, and maintenance of personal relationships, and building independence in their school routine </p> </li> <li> <p>Supports school age children to succeed with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).</p> </li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>BAYADA recognizes and rewards our RBTs who set and maintain the highest standards of excellence.
