<h1>Mid-Level Solutions Analyst</h1> <h2>Overview</h2> <p>Black Canyon Consulting (BCC) is searching for a <strong>Mid-Level Solutions Analyst</strong> to support business process assessment, workflow modernization, and operational improvement initiatives. The Mid-Level Solutions Analyst will work with stakeholders and technical teams to document existing processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and develop modernized workflows that improve efficiency, consistency, and clarity.</p> <h2>Job Description</h2> <p>The Mid-Level Solutions Analyst will independently perform structured reviews of business processes, document current-state workflows, identify bottlenecks and redundant activities, and contribute to the development of improved future-state processes.</p> <p>This position will participate in stakeholder discovery activities, evaluate opportunities for digital tools and automation, develop process documentation and training materials, and support pilot testing and refinement of proposed solutions.</p> <h2>Required Skills</h2> <ul> <li>5+ years of relevant professional experience</li> <li>Experience conducting business process analysis or process improvement activities</li> <li>Experience documenting current-state (“as-is”) workflows</li> <li>Experience contributing to future-state (“to-be”) workflow design</li> <li>Experience participating in stakeholder interviews, discovery sessions, or workshops</li> <li>Experience creating process maps and documenting process handoffs</li> <li>Ability to identify bottlenecks, delays, redundant steps, and other process inefficiencies</li> <li>Experience developing SOPs, workflow diagrams, templates, or roles and responsibility documentation</li> <li>Ability to identify opportunities for automation or digital process improvement</li> <li>Experience supporting pilot testing or implementation activities</li> <li>Strong analytical, documentation, communication, and organizational skills</li> <li>Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams</li> <li>Ability to ensure work aligns with applicable policies, internal controls, and regulatory requirements</li> </ul> <h2>Desired Skills</h2> <ul> <li>Experience supporting federal government or regulated environments</li> <li>Experience with business process improvement or workflow modernization initiatives</li> <li>Experience developing user-facing training materials or job aids</li> <li>Experience evaluating operational performance metrics</li> <li>Experience supporting workflow automation or digital transformation initiatives</li> <li>Experience gathering and analyzing stakeholder feedback</li> <li>Experience supporting change management or solution adoption activities</li> </ul> <h2>Job Responsibilities</h2> <ul> <li>Conduct structured reviews of current business processes and workflows</li> <li>Participate in stakeholder discovery sessions and process review meetings</li> <li>Develop and maintain current-state (“as-is”) process documentation</li> <li>Map activities, decision points, dependencies, and key handoffs</li> <li>Identify delays, bottlenecks, redundant steps, and administrative burden</li> <li>Contribute to development of future-state (“to-be”) workflows</li> <li>Identify opportunities to simplify activities and improve process consistency</li> <li>Help clarify roles, responsibilities, and process ownership</li> <li>Evaluate opportunities for digital tools, automation, or integrated approval mechanisms</li&g
