Join us!</p></div><h2><strong>About the Role</strong></h2> <p>The People Operations Program Specialist is a hands-on, on-site role based in Pittsburgh, PA (Robinson Twp), focused on delivering a seamless onboarding experience for every new Blinker who walks through our doors. This individual will support our candidate onboarding program — managing the details leading up to Day 1 and on Day 1 so that the process is organized and feels effortless.</p> <p>The role will focus on managing background check completions, collecting candidate information to completing I-9 verifications and answering benefits questions on the spot, this person keeps every piece of the new hire process moving. This role operates with strong independent judgment, an eye for detail, and a genuine passion for people.</p> <h2><strong>What You'll Do</strong></h2> <p><strong>Background Check Administration</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong> </strong>Monitor BGC status in Checkr and follow up proactively on pending or incomplete checks, ensuring timely completion ahead of start dates</li> <li><strong> </strong>Apply adjudication guidelines consistently and escalate flagged results to the appropriate People Ops team member for review.</li> <li><strong> </strong>Maintain accurate BGC tracking records and keep the New Hire BGC Tracker up to date.</li> </ul> <p><strong>New Hire Data Collection & Form Management</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong> </strong>Collect, review, and process all required new hire information ahead of each start date, including hire data, equipment requirements, and personal data.</li> <li><strong> </strong>Update and maintain new hire forms, ensuring all templates are current and accurately reflect any policy or process changes.</li> <li><strong> </strong>Partner with the People Ops team to ensure all new hire records are entered accurately and completely in Workday at the time of hire.</li> <li><strong> </strong>Identify and resolve data gaps or missing documentation before Day 1 to prevent onboarding delays.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Day 1 Communications</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong> </strong>Draft and send Day 1 welcome emails to all incoming new hires, ensuring each communication includes accurate logistics, schedule details, and site-spe
