We believe that focusing on the small stuff – pixel-by-pixel and task-by-task - leads to big gains. </p> <p>Blue River Technology is based in Santa Clara, CA. </p> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Job Responsibilities</strong></span></p> <ul> <li>Leads the design and implementation of complex full stack solutions, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability.</li> <li>Identifies system inefficiencies and drives architectural improvements, ensuring high-quality deliverables across projects.</li> <li>Mentors junior engineers, providing technical guidance and support through coaching, code reviews, and knowledge sharing.</li> <li>Leads cross-functional collaboration efforts, ensuring seamless integration of features and adherence to product specifications.</li> <li>The employee participates in, and often leads, the design and development of software algorithms for intelligent agricultural robots/machines. Specifically, efforts are focused on improving the accuracy of and reducing the redundancy of commercial agricultural chemical applications used in the growing and cultivating of large-scale crops.</li> </ul> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Requirements</strong></span></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field plus 2 years of related experience.</li> <li>Required skills: <ul> <li>Develop real-time capable software in C++ for Linux.</li> <li>Experience with benchmarking and improving jitter in end-to-end latency (1 yr).</li> <li>Use git and Bazel to build, test, and deploy vehicle software and firmware (1 yr).</li> <li>Develop pub-sub systems that interact with sensors and actuators on robotics systems via CAN and Ethernet (1 yr).</li> <li>Experience building end-to-end testing solutions for data-driven software, including unit, integration, HIL, and regression testing (1 yr).</li> <li>Implement vehicle software utilizing ROS and robotics software packages such as AOS, Flatbuffers, Protobufs (1 yr).</li> <li>May work remotely; periodic time in office required; must live within commuting distance of office.</li> <li>Up to 20% domestic and international travel required for in-field testing, data collection, R&D, and system deployments at customer sites.</li> </ul> </li> </ul> <p>The US annual base salary range for this position is $138,237 - $261,000, along with eligibility for Blue River’s bonus and benefit programs.</p> <p>#LI-DNI</p>
