<p><strong>Project Manager</strong></p> <p>As Boingo’s Project Manager you’ll take charge of projects to fulfill our agreements with a variety of venues. You’ll manage the implementation of monopole, guyed tower, rooftop and small cell projects from initiation to successful rollover to O&M phase. Work closely with site owners, general contractors, managers, cellular carrier reps, and your Boingo colleagues. You’ll manage the daily direction of all project-related activities that pertain to our agreements with cellular carriers and venue managers. (e.g., airport authorities, building management, municipalities, etc.)</p> <p>This role is based on-site at Newark Airport (EWR), with occasional travel to our Rockefeller Center office, as well.</p> <p>Now is a great time to join Boingo, as we celebrate <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yQQVBCrWcsg">25 years of innovation!</a></p> <p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Team-lead responsibility for the design, construction, test, and launch of monopole, guyed tower, rooftop, small cell and iDAS systems.</li> <li>Review executed Host Agency contracts, Carrier Agreements, contractors and subcontracts – related to monopole and construction and commissioning.</li> <li>Prepare Project Plans and set up project teams; work and coordinate with the NYC based PM team</li> <li>Manage and coordinate day to day construction activities related to all on-site implementation and operations work in accordance with agreements, contracts and project plans</li> <li>Work directly with host facility representatives to establish and maintain cooperative relationships</li> <li>Support the discovery, review, and evaluation of all potential service sub-contractors</li> <li>Follow Program Control’s Project Tracking and Reporting Process, including Program & Project Review Presentations </li> <li>Establish Preventative & Emergency Maintenance Plans</li> <li>On-site management of all Boingo field personnel, contractors & subcontractors</li> <li>Coordinate and oversee of all project management work schedules and weekly look-a-heads</li> <li>Manage all coordination effort between Host Agency Project Managers and General Contractors, various trade labor contractors, engineering firms, etc. </li> <li>Serve as the first contact for contract compliance</li> <li>Coordinate and oversee all acceptance testing</li> <li>Work directly with vendors in areas of documentation, spares, support, upgrades, commissioning, ATP and maintenance</li> </ul> <p><strong>Requirements</strong></p> <ul> <li>7+ years of project management experience in wireless telecommunications infrastructure.</li> <li>Hands-on experience leading monopole, self-support, guyed tower, rooftop, and small cell projects from site acquisition through construction and closeout.</li> <li>Strong working knowledge of tower design, structural modifications, foundations, equipment installations, tower builds, collocations, upgrades, and decommissioning.</li> <li>Experience coordinating with engineering firms, general contractors, tower owners, utilities, municipalities, wireless carriers, subcontractors, and internal teams to keep work moving.</li> <li>Familiarity with permitting, zoning, FAA/FCC requirements, environmental compliance, structural analysis reports, geotechnical reports, tower mapping, and construction drawings.</li> <li>Proven ability to manage schedules, budgets, risks, stakeholder communications, and multiple concurrent projects with focus and follow-through.</li> <li>Solid project management fundamentals and proficiency with
