The primary responsibility of this role is to obtain and analyze data through advanced computerized models and algorithms to support data-driven decision-making for the Department of Veterans Affairs.</p> <p><strong>Primary Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Extract and analyze data using advanced algorithms and models to identify trends and insights.</li> <li>Develop visualizations such as charts and graphs to effectively communicate complex data patterns.</li> <li>Present findings and recommendations to management on how data insights can influence operations and strategy.</li> <li>Support development and optimization of business models by identifying data-informed improvements.</li> <li>Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data needs and ensure analysis aligns with project objectives.</li> <li>Assist in preparing data-driven reports and presentations tailored to various technical and non-technical audiences.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Minimum Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Public Health, Business, or a related field.</li> <li>Minimum of 3 years of professional experience as a data analyst or in a related analytical role.</li> <li>Proficiency in developing data visualizations using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Pyramid Analytics.</li> <li>Solid understanding of data modeling and trend analysis.</li> <li>Demonstrated experience in interpreting and communicating data findings to a diverse audience.</li> <li>Familiarity with querying and analyzing large datasets using SQL or other data tools.</li> <li>Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience working with VA information systems and databases.</li> <li>Knowledge of healthcare data and terminology, particularly in the context of the VA.</li> <li>Exposure to statistical programming languages such as Python or R.</l
