The experiences this team builds are used every day by Box's customers and are central to how users navigate, find, upload, and work with their content.</p> <p>HomeWeb is a great team to join if you want to work on <strong>highly visible</strong> product surfaces, improve <strong>performance</strong> and reliability at scale, and help teams deliver value more frequently and predictably. We are looking for someone who is comfortable using engineering and product metrics to guide decisions, <strong>improving CI/CD</strong> pipelines, strengthening automated quality gates, and modernizing a large, mature frontend platform using React, TypeScript, an internal design system, <strong>Module Federation</strong>, and modern automated testing practices.</p> <p><strong>What you’ll do:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Develop high-quality, scalable, and responsive user experiences using modern frontend technologies.</li> <li>Build and modernize key end-user surfaces such as <strong>homepage</strong>, navigation, collections, uploads manager, content metadata, and search. Contribute to AI-enabled product experiences.</li> <li>Improve application performance and delivery health by monitoring and optimizing Apdex, page load times, rollout health, build times, deployment frequency, change failure rate, and other engineering and user experience metrics.</li> <li>Improve CI/CD pipelines, automated quality gates, release processes, and observability so the team can ship smaller, safer changes more frequently.</li> <li>Leverage AI tools (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor) to accelerate development, research, documentation, and bug triage.</li> <li>Help evolve our main web application from a monolithic into a modular architecture using Federated Modules / Module Federation.</li> <li>Replace manual QA processes with reliable automated test coverage using tools such as Playwright and related frontend testing frameworks.</li> <li>Contribute to defining and im
