Working primarily on site, this role supports mission-critical programs in a highly technical, secure environment where precision, coordination, and schedule certainty are essential. The surrounding Space Coast area offers a strong engineering and defense presence, coastal living, and proximity to Melbourne, Cocoa Beach, and the broader Central Florida region. <strong>NOTE: You must be able to pass a federal background check and obtain badging on a military and space installation.</strong></p> <p></p> <p> </p> <p>SUMMARY:<br>HSE Manager (Construction) over multiple locations. </p> <p><br>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <p>• Informs Project teams of HSE requirements and verifies they are incorporated into processes and procedures by subcontractors, engineering, and construction personnel.<br>• Develops and provides project management team guidance utilizing the HSE MS Program in accordance with established polices, systems, processes, procedures and methods, client requirements and regulations.<br>• Participates in meetings with customers, Project team members, and contractors/subcontractors to advise of Project-specific mitigation plans, HSE training program, and technical reports.<br>• Develop, implement, and maintain the HSE training plan; and assist project management in the development of site-specific training material and programs. <br>• Stops work in dangerous situations or conditions having imminent adverse HSE impact.<br>• Provide advice to project management team on work practices that should be implemented before the work begins.<br>• Conducts accident investigations and documents factors contributing to an incident, complete investigation reports, identifies corrective actions, and report results per Project procedure. <br>• Coordinates inspection tours of regulatory compliance officers who are auditing the Project/facility for compliance with government HSE requirements. Accompanies the compliance officer(s) during the audit; ensures that all inspection reports are prepared and retained for legal defense should litigation result. <br>• Conducts environmental compliance inspections of Project construction sites to monitor compliance with environmental requirements, contractual commitments, permits, and environmental management plans. <br>• Interprets applicable HSE standards and provides advice to project management to integrate into projects and facilities processes and procedures. <br>• Develops and maintains data base for risk, training, assessment, loss and near-loss events, safety reporting processes, including incident investigations, safety meetings, and corresponding action reports. <br>• Prepares and issues monthly HSE performance reports.<br>• Assi
