<p><strong>Job Purpose:</strong></p> <p>BTIG seeks an Investment Banking Business Manager in our New York office. This individual will partner with senior bankers and key stakeholders (Finance, Legal/Compliance, Operations, Technology, HR, Risk) to drive the operational, financial, and strategic execution of the Investment Banking platform. This role focuses on improving business performance, enabling growth initiatives, ensuring robust controls, and delivering high-quality reporting and governance. <strong>Must <span data-olk-copy-source="MessageBody">be willing to work in NY office 5 days a week - no remote options. </span></strong></p> <p>BTIG offers a unique environment which combines a highly entrepreneurial platform focused on growth companies with the analytical rigor and transaction experience of “bulge bracket” investment banks.</p> <p><strong>Duties & Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Partner with Investment Banking leadership to define priorities, track execution against strategic initiatives, and drive accountability.</li> <li>Develop business cases for new products, headcount, and investment initiatives; support implementation planning and change management.</li> <li>Identify process gaps and lead initiatives to improve efficiency, scalability, and client/service delivery.</li> <li>Own regular business performance reporting (revenue, pipeline, productivity, expense management, profitability) and deliver insights to leadership.</li> <li>Coordinate budgeting, forecasting, and headcount planning processes; monitor run-rate and variance drivers.</li> <li>Create KPI frameworks and dashboards to support decision-making.</li> <li>Oversee deal pipeline tracking and data integrity in CRM and related systems; produce management reporting and ad hoc analytics.</li> <li>Standardize reporting cadence, templates, and definitions across coverage/product teams.</li> <li>Partner with Compliance, Legal, and Risk to support policies, supervisory controls, and regulatory readiness.</li> <li>Support documentation, approvals, and committee materials for business-related governance forums.</li> <li>Act as a central point of coordination across functions to resolve operational issues and deliver projects.</li> <li>Support onboarding/offboarding, access entitlements, and workflow coordination with Operations/Technology.</li> <li>Drive vendor management and tool optimization (CRM, data providers, reporting tools) in partnership with IT and Procurement.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Requirements & Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li>2-5 years in investment banking, banking COO/business management, strategy, finance, or consulting with IB exposure.</li> <li>Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or similar advanced degree a plus.</li> <li>Strong understanding of investment banking coverage/product workflows and key commercial drivers.</li> <li>Strongly prefer candidates with prior front office IB Analyst / Associate experience (industry coverage and/or product)</li> <li>Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional initiatives and delivering measurable outcomes.</li> <li>Advanced analytical capabilities; ability to synthesize complex information into clear executive-level messaging.</li> <li>Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and strong stakeholder management.</li> <li>Financial planning & analysis (budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis)</li> <li>KPI development, dashboarding, and performance management</li> <li>Project/program management; process improvement mindset</li> <li>Risk &am
