<p><strong>Job Purpose</strong></p> <p>BTIG is seeking a Vice President to join its Investment Banking European Coverage Group in London. The candidate will be involved in all facets of BTIG's investment banking activities, including M&A, private and public offerings, and other advisory services. The ideal candidate will demonstrate potential to take on a significant role in deal execution by providing day-to-day support to senior bankers and clients while also providing professional guidance to junior team members. BTIG offers a unique environment which combines a highly entrepreneurial platform focused on growth companies with the analytical rigor and transaction experience of “bulge bracket” investment banks.</p> <p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Coordination of transaction processes, including capital markets, private capital and advisory transactions</li> <li>Preparation of offering memoranda, proposals and other written materials for meetings with clients</li> <li>Lead the preparation of company valuations, financial models and industry-specific business development presentations</li> <li>Perform research and various analyses in support of new business generation</li> <li>Organise and participate in marketing and client meetings</li> <li>Leading and participating in drafting sessions for transactions</li> <li>Conducting industry and company-specific due diligence related to transactions</li> <li>Interact with corporate clients, private equity firms, venture capital firms and senior bankers</li> <li>Assisting in the development and continued cultivation of client relationships</li> <li>Identifying new business opportunities and developing tailored recommendations for clients</li> <li>Supervising and mentoring junior bankers</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Requirements and Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>Undergraduate degree from a top-tier university</li> <li>Minimum 4 years of investment banking experience from coverage & products groups such as Consumer & Retail, Industrials, Business Services, TMT, M&A</li> <li>Must have strong interpersonal skills and be able to communicate effectively in presentations, as well as express complex financial strategies in an organised and articulate manner</li> <li>Strong work ethic, detail orientation and a passion for excellence</li> <li>Strong written and oral communication skills and ability to convey ideas</li> <li>Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously</li> <li>Highly organised, proactive, energetic and decisive, with high level of integrity</li> <li>Ability to comfortably interact with business clients and management</li> <li>Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills and proficiency with relevant banking-related databases / applications (Bloomberg, CapIQ, etc.)</li> <li>The ability to excel in both team and self-directed settings</li> <li>Fluent in English and ideally in German on a professional level</li> </ul> <p><strong>Important Notes</strong></p> <ul> <li>Must be authorised to work full time in the U.K., BTIG does not offer sponsorship for work visas of any type</li> <li><strong> </strong>No phone calls please, the applicant will be contacted if successful.</li> </ul> <p><strong>About BTIG:</strong></p> <p>BTIG is a global financial services firm specializing in institutional trading, investment banking, research and related brokerage services.
