We’re hiring a Senior Data Platform Engineer to help expand our AWS- and Kubernetes-based data lake into a community-wide data hub. Our goal is to modernize the unclassified OSINT data layer by developing new access patterns and services that support AI/ML enrichment, ETL pipelines, and data discovery and dissemination. If you are excited about building next-generation, scalable data architecture and applying your knowledge of the AWS ecosystem, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. <h2>What You’ll Do in This Role</h2> <ul data-spread="false"> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Build backend services using Java and the Spring ecosystem</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Develop cloud-native solutions using AWS</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Contribute to full-stack development using React and Next.js</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Support event-driven architectures and distributed systems</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Work across multiple projects within the data platform and data pipeline unit</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Follow established Infrastructure as Code and Kubernetes patterns using technologies such as Terraform and Terragrunt</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Collaborate with DevOps teams on infrastructure-related initiatives</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Help modernize and expand data access, metadata services, and platform capabilities</li> </ul> <h2>Minimum Qualifications</h2> <ul data-spread="false"> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Active Secret clearance or higher, with the willingness and ability to upgrade to a TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or equivalent professional experience</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Eight or more years of experience developing applications using Java and the Spring Framework</li>
