<h2>Opportunity</h2> <p>Brunswick Group is seeking an Associate to join our Energy & Resources team in Dallas.</p> <p>Our Energy & Resources team partners with the world’s providers of energy facing geopolitical and trade challenges, alongside societal and environmental demands. We support them along their entire value chain—helping them communicate what they do, why that matters, and how to meet the needs of society.</p> <h2>About the Role </h2> <h5><strong>Client Contribution & Handling</strong></h5> <ul> <li>Providing insight, guidance and advice to clients across industries</li> <li>Advising clients to effectively communicate at critical moments</li> <li>Developing and executing plans to advocate the client’s point of view to the media, employees and other critical stakeholders</li> </ul> <h5><strong>Team Management </strong></h5> <ul> <li>Managing and mentoring team members; working with Partners and Directors on the day-to-day management of staff and client deliverables</li> <li>Actively and effectively managing account teams and driving day-to-day activities for multiple accounts at a time</li> <li>Managing the development of key client documents by playing a vital role in drafting, editing and routing documents through the internal and external review processes</li> <li>Overseeing research assignments on fast-moving situations with tight deadlines; distilling a large amount of information into the most impactful and helpful points</li> <li>Planning and executing client announcements and events, managing: <ul> <li>Strategic communications plan development</li> <li>Preparation of documents including talking points, Q&As, day-of rollouts, media backgrounders, etc.</li> <li>Interactions with journalists</li> <li>Announcement and/or event logistics</li> </ul> </li> </ul> <p><strong>Networking </strong></p> <ul> <li>Actively cultivating relationships with clients and potential clients</li> <li>Developing relationships with the analyst and investor community</li> <li>Fostering a network of journalist contacts and relationships</li> <li>Maintaining relationships with financial and legal advisors</li> </ul> <p> </p> <h2>What We're Looking For</h2> <ul> <li>7-10+ years of relevant work experience in a related field</li> <li>Energetic team player with strong self-motivation</li> <li>Ability to operate with discretion and maintain confidentiality at all times</li> <li>Deep understanding of business, finance and markets</li> <li>Capability to understand multiple stakeholder positions and incorporate that understanding into strategy and messaging for the client</li> <li>Ability to rapidly learn new sectors and companies, and operate with imperfect information</li> <li>Ability to operate effectively in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment</li> <li>Ability to multitask, prioritize and think strategically and creatively</li> <li>Exceptional written and verbal communication ability, including on complex issues</li> <li>Experience managing teams and passionate about mentoring junior staff</li> </ul> <h2>Why Join Us</h2> <p>Whether you are joining a client facing team, a core services team, or starting out on your professional career journey, joining Brunswick unlocks a range of exceptional employee benefits to support your financial future, health and wellness, family and community and continuous professional development.</p> <p>The successful applicant will be eligible
