Over the last five years alone, the firm has advised on more than: </p> <ul> <li>1,000 M&A transactions totaling $2 trillion in value</li> <li>100 high-profile and complex IPOs; and</li> <li>100 publicly disclosed activist defense mandates with an aggregate market capitalization of almost $2 trillion and dozens more that remain private. </li> </ul> <h2>About the Role </h2> <h3>Client Contribution & Handling </h3> <ul> <li style="line-height: 2;">Providing insight, guidance and advice on strategic financial situations to clients across industries</li> <li style="line-height: 2;">Advising clients to effectively communicate to investors at critical moments, as well as earnings, conferences, investor days, and financial transactions</li> <li style="line-height: 2;">Developing and executing plans to advocate the client’s point of view to the media, investors, employees, regulators and other critical stakeholders </li> </ul> <h3>Team Management </h3> <ul> <li>Managing and mentoring team members; working with Partners and Directors on the day-to-day management of staff and client deliverables </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Actively and effectively managing account teams and driving day-to-day activities for multiple accounts at a time </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Managing the development of key client documents by playing a vital role in drafting, editing and routing documents through the internal and external review processes </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Overseeing research assignments on fast-moving situations with tight deadlines; distilling a large amount of information into the most impactful and helpful points </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Planning and executing client announcements and events, managing: </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Strategic communications plan development </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Preparation of documents including talking points, Q&As, day-of rollouts, media backgrounders, etc. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Interactions with journalists </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Announcement and/or event logistics </li> </ul> <h3>Networking </h3> <ul> <li>Actively cultivating relationships with clients and potential clients </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Developing relationships with the analyst and investor community </li&g
