This is a critical role for a professional with a proven track record in social media strategy, and a passion for driving impactful outcomes with Government sector clients.</p> <p>You will be a primary partner and lead for our most significant government accounts, shaping, developing, and executing comprehensive social media strategies that align with client objectives. This role encompasses leadership of a small, dedicated team, end-to-end management of social media projects, and active participation in securing new government business through RFPs and pitches.</p> <h3><strong>What you'll do:</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Serve as the day-to-day point of contact for assigned government clients, building strong relationships in coordination with senior leadership.</li> <li>Support the development and execute social media strategies tailored to government agencies, owning channel plans, content calendars, and publishing workflows.</li> <li>Oversee content production for social channels; draft and edit posts, briefs, and captions; ensure compliance with government policies and brand guidelines.</li> <li>Monitor platforms and community interactions; manage moderation, social listening, and escalation processes per client protocols.</li> <li>Track performance and produce dashboards and insights; recommend optimizations to improve reach, engagement, and sentiment.</li> <li>Assist with new business efforts by contributing research, case studies, proposals, and RFP inputs for public-sector accounts.</li> <li>Stay current on platform updates, trends, and government communication standards; share relevant learnings with clients and the team.</li> <li>Provide light mentorship and QA support to junior team members; help maintain best practices and process documentation.</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Experience that contributes to success:</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Extensive and proven experience in social media strategy and account management, with a significant portion dedicated to government or public sector clients.</li> <li>Proven success executing social media plans and campaigns for multi-st
