Assistant Store Manager (full-time) - Programming and Special Events

<p><strong>What is the Role? </strong></p> <p>We are seeking a<strong> Full-time Assistant Store Manager - Responsible for Programming and Special Events, </strong>to join our Miami team. You will be responsible for guiding CAMP’s families through our retail experience, ensuring they have a magical experience and want to return! This includes:</p> <p><strong>SELLING FLOOR</strong></p> <ul> <li>Support the General Manager in managing the day-to-day operations of the store to ensure the store and teams meet KPI targets</li> <li>Collaborate with General Manager to develop clear action plans for the store and team and strive to achieve objectives, deliverables, and timelines for each plan</li> <li>Act as a results-driven role model for the team to impact sales generation and exceptional customer service</li> <li>Lead and support the oversight of the Canteen floor; acting as Manager on Duty to ensure all operational and customer-facing needs are met</li> <li>Monitor and coach staff to continually improve selling opportunities and build genuine customer relationships</li> <li>Create and implement visual and merchandising strategies to increase sales. Utilizes selling reports to understand floor capacity, layout, and sell through opportunities</li> <li>Support the General Manager and leadership team with goal achievement (KPIs)</li> <li>Motivate and inspire the team to achieve/exceed hourly, daily, weekly business goals through in-store selling, using strong business acumen skills</li> <li>Create and maintain a positive and productive work environment that fosters diversity, inclusivity, teamwork, creativity and a passion for the Camp brand</li> <li>Partner with the General Manager to identify and assess training needs. Create tailored training plans to implement various training methods to enhance team members skills and performance</li> <li>Assist in managing labor spend to optimize responsible spending and profit opportunities</li> <li>Other duties as assigned</li> </ul> <p><strong>PROGRAMMING/CELEBRATIONS</strong></p> <ul> <li>Lead the planning and execution for all programming, special events and celebrations that take place in the store</li> <li>Ensure schedule is written to leverage all in-store programming events (Meet & Greets, Slime Bootcamps, Birthday Parties, etc)</li> <li>Communicate all upcoming special events to store to team to maximize increase in customer traffic and business opportunities</li> <li>Consistently works to optimize revenue potential by identifying programming opportunities during peak and non-peak times. Partner with Director of Programming to optimize performance</li> <li>Engage with all incoming birthday party leads. Actively sell/upsell birthday parties to achieve selling targets. Partner with Celebrations and Events Sales Coordinator to optimize performance</li> <li>Ensure available time slots are up to date to maximize events and party booking opportunities</li> <li>Manage and coach team performance to ensure customer experience and reviews are positively impacted</li> <li>Ensure all programming related supplies are fully stocked. If necessary, place supply orders to ensure proper inventory levels</li> </ul> <p><strong>What are the physical demands?</strong></p> <ul> <li>Ability to stock merchandise from store receiving to shelving; ability to place product, weighing up to 45 pounds, on shelving at various heights (may be climbing up and down a ladder)</li> <li>Exposure to outdoor elements such as sun, precipitation, and wind</li> <li>Regularly required to sit, stand, be
