We empower consumers to gain value and convenience from their own data, and we enable businesses to securely and quickly support their customers.</span></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">We’re recruiting creative, resilient, and ambitious </span><span style="font-weight: 400;"><strong>Sales Development Representatives </strong></span><span style="font-weight: 400;">to join as the first members of our SDR team. This team will focus on selling to insurance agencies which use Canopy Connect's insurance infrastructure to quote faster and manage their books more efficiently. </span></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">We expect that successful SDRs will transition into closing roles quickly. </span></p> <p>The OTE range for this position is $70K-$100K/yr., DOE. <span style="font-weight: 400;">This position is full-time remote with option to work in Eastern, Central, Mountain, or Pacific time zones.</span></p> <h2><span style="font-weight: 400;">Key Responsibilities:</span></h2> <ul> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Identify, research, and reach out to potential customers through email, phone, and social channels.</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Leverage prospecting tools to find contact information for potential buyers at existing Target Accounts and identify new Target Accounts based on anticipated fit</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Assist with creation of sales enablement/marketing materials and proactively suggest new strategies and technologies we should be using</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Perform competitive analysis to ensure Canopy Connect remains the premiere vendor in our space</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Stay abreast of market trends (executive job changes, funding rounds, conferences) to identify possible routes to engage with prospects</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Act as the voice of the customer internally; relay feedback to leadership on product features, pricing, and trends</span></li> </ul> <h2><span style="font-weight: 400;">About you:</span></h2> <ul> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Strong cold calling abilities.</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">6-12mo. experience in a BDR, SDR, or similar role</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Track record of hitting or exceeding meetings-booked quota</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Team player: selling is a team sport and you can play well with your teammates</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Fluency in (or ability to self-learn) Hubspot, LinkedIn, Loom, Gong/Chorus, and other marketing automation and sales enablement tools</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Stellar written/verbal communication skills: you can speak confidently but also demonstrate humility and empathy, both internally and externall</span></li> </ul> <h2><span style="font-weight: 400;">Bonus points for:</span></h2> <ul> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="fon
