Projects may include new construction and renovation in educational, healthcare, sports, corporate commercial and science and technology. </div> <div> </div> <div><a href="https://nam04.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fvimeo.com%2F1056792320%2F4d6964781d%3Fshare%3Dcopy&data=05%7C02%7Cklemmon%40CANNONDESIGN.COM%7Ccb1bb4d7a1a24980e36c08dd502a2288%7C2a62832947c24e25a873a847f2961371%7C0%7C0%7C638754864076524246%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJFbXB0eU1hcGkiOnRydWUsIlYiOiIwLjAuMDAwMCIsIlAiOiJXaW4zMiIsIkFOIjoiTWFpbCIsIldUIjoyfQ%3D%3D%7C0%7C%7C%7C&sdata=%2BxGEGX74V2ktB7xyypfyF%2Bh4dO2nKUcZX5P5uWHw%2BVE%3D&reserved=0">Click here to learn more about our Engineering practice</a></div> </div> <div> </div> <div>HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL DO <ul> <li>Work closely with an experienced structural engineer to develop new or analyze existing structural systems for institutional, sports, and corporate/commercial buildings.</li> <li>Perform design calculations under direct supervision of an experienced engineer.</li> <li>Use relevant engineering software to design and document structural systems.</li> <li>Use Autodesk Revit to develop BIM models for producing Contract Documents.</li> <li>Assist in production of Contract Documents to include foundation plans, floor framing plans, roof plans, sections, details, and specifications.</li> <li>Interface effectively with members of the design team to coordinate structural systems with overall building design.</li> <li>Assist in review of shop drawings during construction phase. May perform field observations during construction phase, including a physical walk through of site.</li> <li>Must be willing to perform overtime work.</li> <li>May perform other duties as required.</li> </ul> </div> <div>HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED</div> <div> <ul> <li><span data-teams="true">Minimum Bachelor in Civil Engineering with Structural focus, Structural Engineering or Architectural Engineering (Structural emphasis) required by hire date.
