The role is responsible for ensuring that trading activities are appropriately reflected in the financial statements in accordance with IFRS, internal accounting policies, and regulatory requirements, while maintaining a robust control environment over financial reporting and valuation processes. Main Duties: <ul data-start="806" data-end="2262"> <li data-section-id="1w8myfj" data-start="806" data-end="925">Preparing and reviewing daily and monthly Product Control accounting and reporting activities for trading businesses.</li> <li data-section-id="1szmcg5" data-start="926" data-end="1125">Ensuring accurate accounting treatment of trading products, fair value adjustments, accruals, reserves, and other valuation-related entries in accordance with IFRS and internal accounting policies.</li> <li data-section-id="1gvwz4w" data-start="1126" data-end="1272">Preparing and reviewing P&L and Balance Sheet reconciliations, investigating breaks, and ensuring timely resolution of accounting discrepancies.</li> <li data-section-id="461xb6" data-start="1273" data-end="1407">Performing detailed analysis and explanation of daily and monthly P&L movements, Balance Sheet variances, and valuation adjustments.</li> <li data-section-id="n0ncoc" data-start="1408" data-end="1569">Overseeing preparation and review of IPV (Independent Price Verification), FVA (Fair Value Adjustment), PVA (Prudent Valuation) and FVL (Fair Value Levelling).</li> <li data-section-id="qcw2aq" data-start="1570" data-end="1664">Supporting month-end, quarter-end and year-end financial close processes for Global Markets.</li> <li data-section-id="1sg7y2f" data-start="1665" data-end="1772">Working closely with Financial Control to ensure accurate financial reporting and regulatory disclosures.</li> <li data-section-id="lpqyh3" data-start="1773" data-end="1886">Supporting implementation of new accounting standards, Product Control methodologies, and control enhancements.</li> <li data-section-id="15p08m2" data-start="1887" data-end="1993">Preparing management information and financial analysis for senior management and governance committees.</li> <li data-section-id="1iw4ct2" data-start="1994" data-end="2168">Partnering with Front Office, Financial Control, Market Risk, Quantitative Analytics, Finance, Operations and IT to ensure completeness and accurac
