This is an exciting opportunity to be a leader, in a growing team of data practitioners, where you will be initiating and implementing cutting-edge data & analytics programmes for top-tier Financial Services clients.</p> <p>This project is with a leading bank as a<strong> Business Analyst / Project Manager for Data governance and management project </strong></p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p><strong>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES </strong></p> <ul> <li>Implement and maintain data governance frameworks, policies, standards, and best practices across the organization.</li> <li>Drive data quality initiatives, including defining controls, monitoring KPIs, and coordinating issue remediation.</li> <li>Establish and support data ownership, stewardship, metadata management, and data lineage processes.</li> <li>Partner with business, technology, risk, and compliance stakeholders to ensure effective governance and regulatory compliance.</li> <li>Facilitate governance forums, stakeholder engagement, and training to promote data governance adoption.</li> <li>Support audit, regulatory, and enterprise data transformation initiatives through strong data management practices.</li> </ul> <p><strong>SKILLS & EXPERTISE</strong></p> <ul> <li>4+ years of experience in<strong> Data Governance, Data Management</strong>, or data quality within financial services </li> <li>Excellent understanding of data governance, data quality, metadata management, and data lineage concepts.</li> <li>Experience on <strong>defining data strategies, target-state operating models</strong>, data capabilities, and implementation roadmaps to support business transformation and data-driven decision-making.</li> <li>Familiarity with data enablement process and delivered different strategies for refinement and improvement </li> <li>Excellent stakeholder management, communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.</li> <li>Experience within Banking, Financial Services, Consulting, or other highly regulated environments is preferred</li> <li>SQL and relevant data governance certifications are advantageous.</li> </ul> <p
