Whether it’s streamlining operations, enhancing customer experience, or reimagining internal systems — we want people who can make Careem work smarter and move faster.</em></strong></span></p></div><h4>About the Role</h4> <p>We are looking for a hands-on <strong>Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer</strong> to design, implement, and maintain our organization's network, server, voice, and end-user management infrastructure across offices and the data center. This role requires deep technical expertise across networking, virtualization, voice systems, cloud identity/device management, infrastructure security, and <strong>AI-driven automation</strong>, combined with the ability to communicate clearly with both technical teams and business stakeholders.</p> <h4>What you'll do </h4> <p>Networking & Connectivity</p> <ul> <li>Design, configure, and manage office networks using Cisco Meraki (switches, wireless access points, security appliances, and dashboard administration).</li> <li>Manage MPLS network connections and WAN links across all office and data center locations, ensuring optimal performance and redundancy.</li> <li>Deploy and maintain Peplink SD-WAN/failover solutions for both offices and the data center.</li> <li>Troubleshoot network performance issues, latency, and connectivity outages across the WAN/LAN environment.</li> </ul> <p>Data Center & Virtualization</p> <ul> <li>Administer and maintain data center server clusters, ensuring high availability, performance, and capacity planning.</li> <li>Manage VMware virtualization environments (vSphere/vCenter, ESXi hosts, resource pools, snapshots, and migrations).</li> <li>Own backup and recovery processes, including backup scheduling, disaster recovery testing, and restoration procedures.</li> </ul> <p>Voice & Contact Center</p> <ul> <li>Configure and support Voice Gateways (SIP/PRI) and telephony infrastructure.</li> <li>Maintain and optimize Contact Center Infrastructure, ensuring uptime and quality of service for customer-facing voice operations.</li> </ul> <p>Endpoint & Identity Management</p> <ul> <li>Administer MDM platforms including JumpCloud,, Microsoft, and Apple Business Manager for device provisioning, policy enforcement, and compliance.</li> <li>Manage Zscaler for secure internet access, zero-trust policies, and traffic inspection.</li> <li>Administer Google Workspace (user provisioning, security settings, groups, and org-wide policies).</li> </ul> <p>Client Engineering & Systems In
