We encourage interested candidates to apply and complete the interview process as early as possible.</p> <p>Career Team is looking to hire a Career Advisor who will perform professional work providing career counseling, intensive case management, and follow-up services. Work is performed under the supervision of the WIOA Program Lead. </p> <p><strong><u>Your Impact on Career Team’s Success</u>:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Provide information and case management services to the community</li> <li>Complete intake and eligibility determination for the workforce programs</li> <li>Assess career seekers’ employment, abilities, and training needs through interviewing, testing, and other methods</li> <li>Serves as a liaison between workforce development programs and community partners</li> <li>Enter data into and otherwise use and process career seekers through any participant information system as required</li> <li>Guide career seekers through the preparation of individual employment plans (IEP) based on their specific occupational goals</li> <li>Stay on top of labor market trends and best practices</li> <li>Counsel career seekers on available job opportunities, training programs, and other services</li> <li>Refer individuals to appropriate services, training programs, or job opportunities and follow up on those activities</li> <li>Conduct orientation sessions, workshops, job clubs, and other group presentations for career seekers</li> <li>Ability to work in a dynamic team environment - must have excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills</li> <li>Follow all policies, procedures, and regulations related to eligibility documentation</li> <li>Maintain accurate individual case files for each registered customer assuring that each file contains all required eligibility documents and meets compliance requirements</li> <li>Meet and/or exceed program benchmarks</li> <li>Participate in all staff-related events as required including but not limited to training and team meetings</li> <li>Complete all required reports within the data management system</li> <li>Approach each day and task with a solutions-oriented and responsive mindset</li> </ul> <p><strong>This position is expected to be 100% onsite.
