This team is responsible for the analytical rigor behind reporting, forecasting, and financial modeling that enable day-to-day and strategic decisions. The ideal candidate is intellectually curious and an exceptional critical thinker; they can live in the data, understanding the logic and processes that generate it as well as detecting signals, diagnosing problems, proposing solutions, and predicting future behavior. They can then use their mastery to synthesize and convey important information to other parties and offer thoughtful ways in which things can be improved. The Business Analytics Team has a wide remit at CarGurus. You’ll work with many departments, gaining a broad exposure to the operation of the business, and be asked to connect the dots between them. Your rich understanding, technical skills, and thought partnership will make you a highly sought-after contributor for a wide variety of stakeholders, including senior leaders.
