You will lead terminal operations, optimize performance, and play a key role in scaling Cargomatic’s presence in the market.</p> <p>We are looking for a proactive, hands-on leader with deep knowledge of port operations, containerized freight, driver management, and terminal processes.</p> <p><strong>What You’ll Do</strong></p> <p><em>Terminal Operations Leadership</em></p> <ul> <li>Accountable for safe operations that meet regulatory requirements</li> <li>Maintain and grow capacity to meet market demand</li> <li>Oversee all daily terminal and drayage operations</li> <li>Control costs across drivers, terminals, and chassis while maximizing revenue</li> <li>Ensure efficient container movement, dispatching, yard flow, and coordination with port terminals and partners</li> <li>Optimize processes to reduce dwell time and improve service performance</li> </ul> <p><em>Team Management & Development</em></p> <ul> <li>Lead, mentor, and develop terminal staff (dispatchers, clerks, yard personnel)</li> <li>Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement</li> <li>Manage staffing levels, scheduling, and performance</li> </ul> <p><em>Customer Service & Relationships</em></p> <ul> <li>Deliver high customer satisfaction through communication, accuracy, and proactive issue resolution</li> <li>Build and maintain relationships with customers, port authorities, carriers, and internal teams</li> </ul> <p><em>Operational Performance & KPIs</em></p> <ul> <li>Establish and track key performance indicators</li> <li>Analyze operational data to identify trends and improvement opportunities</li> <li>Provide reporting and insights to leadership</li> </ul> <p><em>Safety, Compliance & Regulatory Oversight</em></p> <ul> <li>Ensure compliance with DOT, OSHA, FMCSA, and port authority requirements</li> <li>Implement and enforce safety protocols</li> </ul> <p&
