This role goes beyond architecture delivery: you will shape how Caylent designs and evolves modern data platfo</p> <p class="p1"><strong>Experience</strong></p> <ul class="ul1"> <li class="li2">10+ years in data architecture, data engineering, or closely related technical disciplines</li> <li class="li2">5+ years delivering cloud-based data solutions at enterprise scale</li> <li class="li2">Proven experience in a consulting or professional services environment, including embedded delivery inside a client or prime contractor program</li> <li class="li2">Proven track record in mentoring or leading technical teams</li> <li class="li3">3+ years of hands-on Oracle APEX and Oracle REST Data Services (ORDS) delivery, including at least one production migration or upgrade of a multi-application APEX estate</li> </ul> <p class="p1"><strong>Architecture Depth (strong across most of the following)</strong></p> <ul class="ul1"> <li class="li2"><strong>End-to-end design of modern cloud-native data platforms</strong>, including lakehouse architectures (Delta Lake, Apache Iceberg, Apache Hudi), data mesh, and medallion patterns</li> <li class="li2"><strong>Database migration and modernization: </strong>legacy-to-cloud migrations, heterogeneous database migration strategies, schema and workload refactoring, and modernization to cloud-native data platforms</li> <li class="li2"><strong>Oracle APEX and ORDS migration and architecture:</strong> APEX application and workspace architecture, export/import and deployment across environments, version upgrades, ORDS deployment and configuration models (including Apache Tomcat hosting), and preserving existing application behavior when relocating an APEX estate to AWS</li> <li class="li2"><strong>Oracle Database (19c Enterprise Edition) depth:</strong> PL/SQL, schema design, performance tuning, database links, scheduled jobs, and awareness of licensed Enterprise Edition options that affect target configuration</li> <li class="li2"><strong>APEX dependency and plugin assessment:</strong> mapping database links, scheduled jobs, OS-level scripts, integrations, and identity dependencies, and assessing third-party APEX plugin compatibility on the target platform</li> <li class="li2"><strong>Cutover planning and resilience:</strong> migration sequencing across dev, test/UAT, and production, downtime-window management, rollback design, HA/DR patterns, and validation of application behavio
