Our entire team is driven by a shared commitment to transforming the landscape of critical care through our rapid seizure detection technology, come join the movement!</p></div><p><strong>Position Overview</strong>:</p> <p>We are seeking a highly motivated R&D Strategy & Operations Manager to join the Office of the CTO at Ceribell. We are looking for a versatile problem-solver who combines technical literacy, analytical rigor, and project management skills to drive execution of key R&D initiatives. You will partner closely with the Chief of Staff and CTO to ensure smooth operations, effective cross-functional collaboration, and clear communication of priorities. </p> <p>This is an ideal role for someone with a technical background (electrical or mechanical engineering, biomedical engineering, or related) who is eager to expand into a high-impact operations leadership role within a fast-growing MedTech company.<strong> </strong></p> <p> </p> <p><strong>What you'll do:</strong></p> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Strategic Analysis & Reporting</strong></span></p> <ul> <li>Conduct analyses to support technology and operational decision-making (product and R&D road mapping, capacity planning, process improvement, insight generation) </li> <li>Prepare presentations, reports, and briefs for the CTO and leadership team </li> </ul> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Project & Program Management </strong></span></p> <ul> <li>Drive execution of priority R&D and technology initiatives, coordinating across Product Development, Engineering, Data Science, Operations, Regulatory, Quality and GTM teams </li> <li>Own trackers, dashboards, and status updates to ensure projects remain on schedule </li> <li>Identify risks, dependencies, and escalate as appropriate </li> </ul> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Special Projects </strong></span></p> <ul> <li>Lead or support ad hoc projects and strategic initiatives in R&D, technology, operations, business systems and external relations </li> <li>Conduct research and benchmarking to inform decision-making </li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>What We're Looking For: </strong></p> <ul> <li>PhD required. <ul> <li>Academic fields could include Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Neuroscience, Biomedical Engineering, or related technical field</li> </ul> </li> <li>Experience with medical devices is highly preferred</li> <li>Preferred experience with strategic consulting or business strategy and operations with exposure to MedTech product management</li> <li>Strong project management and organizational abilities</li> <li>Ability to independently conduct product research, including literature review, customer interview, competitive analysis, and opportunity assessment </li> <li>Ability to bring structure to complex and ambiguous questions, as well as creating and ex
