IBM FileNet Developer & Administrator

We are seeking a skilled IBM FileNet Developer & Administrator with 5-9 years of experience in Enterprise Content Management (ECM) solutions. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in IBM FileNet P8 administration and development, along with hands-on experience in Java/.NET development, REST API services, containerized deployments, and database management. The role involves delivering scalable document management solutions, maintaining FileNet environments, and contributing to modern AI-enabled enterprise platforms. Technical Requirements: Mandatory Skills IBM FileNet P8 Administration and Development Content Platform Engine (CPE) FileNet Content Manager (FCM) Java and/or .NET Development REST API Development & Maintenance IBM DB2 and/or PostgreSQL Linux Administration Shell Scripting (Bash) Python Scripting Kubernetes and/or OpenShift Containerization Technologies (Docker) Solution Design and Technical Documentation Responsibilities: IBM FileNet Administration Administer and maintain IBM FileNet P8 / Content Platform Engine (CPE) environments. Manage FileNet Content Manager configurations, object stores, document classes, storage areas, and security settings. Monitor system health, performance, availability, and troubleshoot platform-related issues. Perform upgrades, patching, backup, recovery, and environment support activities. Development & Integration Design, develop, and maintain applications using Java or .NET technologies. Develop, enhance, and support RESTful APIs and services for enterprise integrations. Build and maintain integrations between FileNet and external business applications. Support modern application development practices including API-first architecture and service-oriented design. Containerization & Platform Engineering Containerize applications using Docker and deploy workloads to Kubernetes/OpenShift platforms. Collaborate with infrastructure and DevOps teams to ensure scalable and secure deployments. Support CI/CD and deployment automation initiatives. Database & AI Ecosystem Support Manage and support IBM DB2 (within the FileNet ecosystem) and/or PostgreSQL databases. Work with structured and unstructured enterprise content repositories. Contribute to initiatives involving Vector Databases, LLMs, and AI-powered document processing solutions. Participate in architecture discussions and technical solution design activities.
