Exposure to commercial credit lifecycle processes or banking transformation programs Responsibilities: Job Description: Commercial Banking Business Analyst Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Commercial Banking Business Analyst with a strong background in business analysis, product ownership, and end to end commercial banking processes. The ideal candidate will bring deep domain expertise across lending, trade finance, payments, cash and liquidity management, and modern banking platforms. This role requires strong analytical capabilities, excellent articulation, and effective stakeholder management. Key Responsibilities Partner with business stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document business requirements, process flows, and system changes. Act as a Product Owner to define product vision, prioritize the product backlog, and collaborate with cross-functional teams for successful delivery. Translate business needs into user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria aligned with Agile best practices. Work closely with Scrum Teams by participating in Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-Ups, Backlog Grooming/Refinement, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives. Ensure backlog items are clearly defined, estimated, and ready for development teams each sprint. Facilitate communication between business and technical teams to ensure alignment throughout Agile delivery cycles. Collaborate with Solution Architects, Developers, Testers, and SMEs to refine user stories and ensure solution feasibility. Support and enhance team agility by identifying process improvements and promoting Agile ways of working. Conduct gap analysis, assess impacts, propose solutions, and contribute to iterative delivery of product enhancements. Lead UAT planning, scenario design, and validation for system enhancements delivered in Agile increments. Provide domain expertise across commercial lending, trade finance, payments, cash management, and related platforms (e.g., Loan IQ, nCino). Build and maintain strong partnerships with senior stakeholders through clear communication, expectation setting, and timely updates. Required Experience & Skills Experience Minimum 10 years of overall professional experience in financial services or banking domains. Proven experience as a Business Analyst and/or Product Owner. Hands-on experience in at least one of the following areas: Commercial Banking Commercial Lending Trade Finance Payments Asset Finance Cash & Liquidity Management Preferred Skills: Domain->FS-Cross Functional Capabilities->Banking Basics
