Mechanical Design Engineer

We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer with strong expertise in tooling concepts, welding fixtures, and fabrication design. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in heavy engineering environments and the ability to independently develop and validate fixture concepts aligned with manufacturing and quality requirements. Technical Requirements: Strong hands-on experience in: Tooling fixture design Welding fixtures & weld modeling Fabrication design in heavy engineering Deep understanding of: GD&T principles Manufacturing processes and tolerances Proficiency in CAD tools: Creo Siemens NX Ability to create and validate fixture concepts independently Responsibilities: Design and develop tooling fixtures, welding fixtures, and fabrication fixtures for heavy engineering applications Create innovative fixture concepts ensuring manufacturability, safety, and cost efficiency Perform weld modeling and fixture validation based on engineering requirements Interpret and apply GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) for robust design outputs Work closely with manufacturing teams to support fabrication and assembly processes Prepare detailed 3D models, 2D drawings, and BOMs Participate in design reviews and implement continuous improvements Ensure adherence to quality standards, tolerances, and production requirements Preferred Skills: Technology->CAD->Creo,Domain->Manufacturing->Manufacturing - ALL,Domain->Industry types->Industry types->Heavy Engineering Industries & Equipment
